Proxy bypass gone. -- Time to close of this thread. -- Until next Sony update!
to late. sony patched it now.
You know I know this is not directly related to this thread but was wondering if anyone could explain this. So I updated to 3.50 a few days back to access PSN and redownload any of my stuff on my main account.
Now as most people have found out by today, the DNS trick no longer allows to to sign into your PSN account. In my case it askes me to update to lastest software which is normal.
Now the odd part...If I log out my main account and switch to my other account that I created whilst on 3.41 jailbroken but never activated or entered on PSN on 3.41 in retail mode, It right now allows me to access the PSN store on 3.50 using the same DNS trick however when I move over to the PSN network XMB tab it has the sign up for the playstation network tab first with the PSN store being the last. So could it be they did not actually block access to the playstation store on 3.5 just force people with activated accounts to update?
Maybe, but anything you might buy off of the PSN needs to have your account activated to be able to run...
I closed the original thread for a reason, it has been patched by Sony, proxy is gone, like always happens after a week once a new release is out and finalized by Sony.
Oh'well -- Merge threads together again!
