Enable PSN Content on 3.41 Firmware

This may be obvious to some, but gliitch of PS3Hax, has posted a tutorial, on activating your PSN content, so that it’s playable on 3.41 firmware. Please note this requires downgrading, so please familiarize yourself with that process, prior to attempting this.

Some people are getting annoyed that they cannot play their PSN content on lower firmwares. Well i have found how to, everything thing ive tried works, so hopefully it will work for you as well.

1: Update your PS3 to 3.50

[ROot] PS3/UPDATE/3.50.PUP

2: Re-Enable PSN with the DNS hack

DNS PRIMARY: 67.202.81.137

Same for secondary
3: Now sign into PSN and go to Account Management —> Activate account –> PS3

Download PSN Content.

4: Once downloaded, start the game, then exit to XMB.

5: Backup Hard disk, from the system menu.

6: Downgrade to 3.41

7: Restore backup

8: now you can play your PSN Game on 3.41

PS3 fat on 3.41 using PS3 break v1.2 and Gaia manager, can anyone confirm if this actually works? not ventureed on to PSN yet but really want to play fifa 11 and black ops online asap...anyone with some tips on how i can achieve that i would be very grateful.

I have read about black ops and changing the param.sfo etc for update 1.03, is this still the way to go? or did the 3.5 firmware break that.

Can you currently play online Black Ops and Fifa 11? sorry for being a noob but hey, got to start somewhere...

I have the Fat K01 Model & PS3Break v1.1. I just finished downloaded al my PSN content, and am backing it up now. After that is done, I will downgrade again/

If you want to play online, you can upgrade to 3.50, use the DNS trick, and play your games off their retail disc, only!

for people wondering with this u can play online with 3.50 firmware then downgrade to enjoy jailbreaking then upgrade again if you want to play psn with people. it's kinda troublesome but for people who havent jailbroken their consle yet but dont want to go to 3.55 this is great. when my dongle gets here ill say good bye psn when i downgrade

to clarify things i havent tested out the downgrading then upgrading method
but im playing modern warfare 2 online multiplayer with 3.50 firmware
with a slim 125 gb thats never been jailbroken im also in usa and

Won't the DNS trick only work for a limited time? Once 3.55.next is released the 3.50 DNS thing won't work will it?
