emulator on ps2

Ok first I must say i am running rogero on my ps3 and have had my ps3 broke for quite some time so I feel as if I am not, well, "dumb" to this. However, I recently acquired a memory with fmcb and successfully installed snes emulator on it. I can run games through usb but it appears to be slow (star fox is abysmal). I wanted to know what media to use and how I should go about either saving the roms on a mc or putting them on some type of blank media ( I miss my kmeaw roms on my ps3)!
