Eject button not triggered after downgrade

1. I had to downgrade a ps3 fat 40 gig console from 3.50 ------> 3.41 Using the dgf.rar files. I used eclipse down grader , of course by using the eclips3 dongle( tiny silver colour chip). Every thing went on fine.Now i booted the ps3 with ps3usbjb dongle and it also worked... but After my friend took it back home, the dongle does nt boot at all...he says the eject button may be disabled now/.
2.Now blu ray playback is also lost....suppose if the dongle has stopped working. can u update it back to 3.50 for my friend to restore his system back to play blu ray

Sounds like your friend is a noob so ask him to bring the PS3 back and test it yourself. Is he saying he tried to test Blu-ray and the disc is stuck in the PS3? If he can eject it then obviously the button isn't disabled.

He probably isn't pressing it fast enough after pressing power, or something.

Also, if Blu-ray playback is really gone then it's gone for good (unless someone develops a fix at some point). Updating to 3.50 won't solve it.

subcon959, buddy, i m using the procedure as directed by my friend......all of sudden, till yesty....the manual eject button was workg.....but now after downgraded,,,,why it is not????


hence try to give solution rather than critiscing on the point????

any other users, what will be solution for blu ray fix??????????

If you can't eject the dvd then yeah your eject button is broke obviously. I don't think it's related to the jailbreak, other than maybe pressing it a bit harder and more often than usual?

I would be surprised if there was a Blu-ray fix very soon, as it still seems like no one has pin-pointed the exact problem.
