EBOOT.BIN Error

Hey guys!

I am having some problem with the games I have backed up on my external hard drive.

When I FTP them back onto my Internal HDD & go to BackUp Manager to launch the game, I get a message like this "EBOOT.BIN Error, can't launch game".

Why is this happening?

I have checked in the folders & the Ebbot.Bin is in there.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

EBOOT.BIN is encrypted.
This backup was not created by Backup manager.

I backed up all the games using BackUp Manager & then put them on an external drive.

Then when I copy it back on, I get this error msg.

why dont you just back them directly to the external?

Maybe the game have files over 4 GB and the backup is not playable.

What game is it ?

It's Virtua Fighter 5.

I have tried burning it on a DVD by following the tut on PS3-Hacks,but the game does not launch,XMB keeps reloading everytime I try to launch the DVD from BackUp Manager.

hey if the xmb keep reloading try rdx_manager and if it worked record a video and post it because it z my tut. but it did not work for the people they tell me it give them eboot.bin error but for you you don't get ebootbin error only reloading in xmb but rdx_manager will boot the game directly so if worked post a video

And dont use RDX manager.
Is NOT for retail consoles.
