Have been doing plenty of reading up on this, but can't seem to figure out the easiest, quickest or most hassle-free solution.

I have most of my games backed up now on External HDD, but there are a few which won't run or backup on anything but Internal because of the FAT32 restrictions. I know about psarc, but don't want to divide the files - seems also to give mixed results anyway from comments I've read from ppl.

From what I've also have read, seems Comgenie, Blackbox FTP Server or maybe even MultiMan are the most popular methods, but can anyone recommend the fastest and easiest way to transfer other than these?

Or if ripping a Blu-Ray disc directly to the Internal, how long does this usually take, I am guessing slower than to External?

the "easiest, quickest(not really) or most hassle-free solution."

would be to rip the blu ray. although the blu ray drive is quite slow, it is more hassle free and possibly the easiest way.

as for doing it the fastest way, it would be to use a crossover cable and connect your ps3 directly to your pc and use the ftp function to transfer the files. you could also just connect both your pc and ps3 to your router but it would produce slightly slower speeds than if they were connected together with no router.

if you cannot directly connect your ps3 to your pc or to a router, the only other option apart from external usb drive would to use wifi with ftp which is fairly slow and the connection is more prone to dropping (atleast it is for me).

but really those are the only options till someone makes a way for the ps3 to support a less restrictive file system (ntfs or similar) on external usb devices.

How long on average would it take to rip an average sized game to Internal? Say for example, Call of Duty.

Is there any one program that is better than another (e.g. faster) for this purpose to Internal?

Again, what's the best program for FTP via Crossover cable?

Took me maybe 20-30 mins to rip Black ops to my internal drive.

I use Filezilla and Blackbox ftp with Ethernet cable to transfer my games.
