I installed an e3 flasher in my fat ps3 but when I power the PS3 on, I get no lights on the e3. I disassembled the PS3 again and cleaned the contacts again and reseated the NOR clip. Reassembled the PS3 and still no lights on the e3. The PS3 powers on and stays on until I power it off. I did not solder the NOR Tristate as I had read that this is only necessary to keep the PS3 powered on for flashing. Does anyone have any troubleshooting ideas I can try?

Try putting a coin or something else above your nor clip for pressure.
Make sure the clip is fit to the case and the window of the e3 flasher is also fit good.

I tried that and now I have the red power led on the external e3 board, but no other lights.
