e3 flasher?

will the e3 flasher only work on your NOR console because i got a NAND console

The e3 flasher will work on both NAND and NOR fat and SLIM, however the fat consoles require some soldering in order to downgrade. The SLIM models or the NOR models do not require soldering.

Okay i have on more question (noobish) when you have only 1 hdd you must format it in able to downgrade. Does this mean i have just to format and than flash it or something? Like how to downgrade with progskeet
