E3 Car question

Hi everybody, sorry if this is a stupid question or one that has been asked alot.

I want to purchase the E3 Card and reader... but I wanted to know if this will enable or erase the Cinavia protection. I'm on 3.72, I updated not knowing it would prevent me from downgrading as I am new to all of this.

you'll need the E3 flasher not card reader and it all depends on what FW your PS3 came with, also ig you end up getting CFW on your PS3 then there are tools to disable cinavia

Hey thanks bitsbubba! It was purchased 02/2011 and it came with 3.50. Should I be ok? Also Im looking at the Limited addition E3 package releasing around Oct , for around 87 thats linked directly from E3-Tech net's ditrubutor page. Is that what I should be purchasing?

you got it and yes you should be fine with any 3.55 CFW, (sadly probably nothing below 3.50)
