Dumb question? –

Hi all,
until we had psn access recently, I never worried too much about updating any games, if they worked, they worked.
However, for the sake of playing some online, obviously they need to be on the latest firmware.
Is there a list somewhere (I have been looking, sorry if I missed something blatent) of games that can be fully updated in game without any patches?
Perhaps another list of game update patches that have been hacked and are the latest, so allow online play.
Or is it a case of running each game, seeing what update it asks me to install now im logged into psn, then searching the interweb for that game patch to find out if its cracked or safe to update?
Again, sorry if there is an obvious list somewhere that Ive missed

legend, thanks!
do you know if that updater will only download patched updates or "safe" updates for cfw or all updates regardless of whether they run on 3.55 or not?

It shows what firmware is required when updates are listed. Enter the BLUS or BLES code of the game you wish and it will list each update per game, not just the most current as sony does. After you get the update you wish look to the cracked patches released by nodrm and others.
