are you talking about both External HDD or Internal HDD or one Int.and another Ext. ?

You can use any external hard drive formatted to fat32.

As long as they are both FAT32 Formatted it should work fine as far as I know.

You can't use NTFS & FAT32 at the same time though, It's either / or ... and remember NTFS is READ ONLY!

You can use as many ext hdd that you can get (with a hub for more). In multiMAN, it'll show as USB00x instead of HDD00x

If you go for a HUB make sure to get a powered one, you can pick up a 7 port hub including a 3Amp / 3000mA 5v power supply, providing a maximum 500ma per USB port. Enough power to run up to 7 USB 2.5 HD once connected to your PS3, all for around £7.00 upwards delivered here in the UK, bargain and a must I'd say...
