Downloading backups online?

Is it or could it be possible for anyone to upload there ps3 game backups to the internet, so other people could download them, install them en then play them? I'm aware that this would be piracy and that is not what the makers of the psjailbreak intended, but I'm just curious as to wether it would be possible.
