Downgrading 3.55 to 3.41 help needed

hello all im about to downgrade my ps3 from 3.55 to 3.41 now i read a guide from this site about it and it said that fat consoles with 256 nand will lose blue ray playback. I found out that my console is one of them so im asking how do i back up the dev_flash folders and restore them so i get blue ray playback when i downgrade. Also i am wondering when i downgrade to 3.41 how do i make my ps3 think its on 3.55 so i can play gt5 and have be able to look at psn store ect

Btw i will be using Eclips3 to downgrade and jailbreak if that matters

Well if your on 3.55 you should probably update to 3.55 geo hot version to install package files, then run some sort of file manager. in the file manager you can backup your dev_flash3 files to restore playback after you downgrade. There is more info out there tho I downgraded mine last night and im in the process of trying to fix my BD Playback.

Also before you jailbreak if you own any blu rays that are fairly recent, inception, avatar etc play that movie before you backup the files. this way incase your backups fail you can restore using another method.

I had fixed my Blu Ray playback thankfully. Was quite easily actually. I just had to use my friends laptop that had a blu ray drive in it to get the MKB file from the blu ray.
