Downgraded from 4.25 using E3 whants next Im lost

Hello!

After I downgraded using E3 I installed Rogero CFW v3.7. Then installed the latest multiman. Made backup of a game I own using multiman to copy them to internal HDD.

Games I tried are Prototype 2. but when I run it it returns to XMB from both BD and HDD.

How can I get them to run I am lost, I read about Eboot patches but could not find a decent tutorial on how to use them.

Please anyone guide me on the best method to play new 3.6+ games and a link on how to do it

And where should I place the file? in the root of the game folder?

Drop the contents of the rar into the PS3_GAME of the backup folder

I tried what you said but still it didn't work for me.

Again: I am using Rogero CFW v3.7 and Multiman 4.07 full I put the files from the patch into the PS3_Game folder of the game and confirmed to overwrite but still when I open the game it shows a black screen then it reloads XMB again

Do you have a game disc in (any PS3 game)? It seems this game needs one (I just checked). After selecting the game in multiMAN it will return to XMB from there sxroll to the game icon (BD icon) and it should now be the game you selected (in this case [Prototype 2]). Start the game from there

Look bro, after u select the game in multiman and run it, you should be normally kicked back to XMB.
That's how it works, now scroll to a folder named "/app_home/PS3_GAME" (It should come with the CFW) and you will find that the game is there,, press X and play.

look bro! I would have told him to go to /app_home/PS3_GAME if this game could be played disc-less which it can't so before you jump in and try to give (bad) advice, know what you're talking about Homey!

I thought his problem was getting kicked back to XMB

That's what he had said but it just sounded more to me like after mounting the game multiMAN has exitted to the XMB, so I checked the game on my HDD which turns out to be disc only so I was telling him those instructions (incedentally if he was getting thrown back to the XMB disc-less would be more of the cause then disc in)
