Downgraded from 3.55 to 3.41 (HELP!)

Do I need to patch the games before it will run? I have ext. hdd 320gb (fat32) with the game Enslaved on it. When I play it just goes in black screen?

try launching it with select+X,

if that doesnt work, try copying it to internal, SOME games only work from internal
