Downgrade question

Hi.
Sorry if i'm posting in the wrong section or if i'm repeating a question that as been asked to many times, but for what i have searched (google), i'm getting confused.

I have a ps3 fat with 4.11 (it can be downgradable to 1.94)
I have the E3 Flasher, but no dongle. Can i use the ps3jig? I have read that it is possible just to enter the factory mode (and not update) with the ps3jig with 3.56FW+ but not many talk about it, it looks like every one prefers to buy the dongle. I prefer not to, because i don't require it after the downgrade.

So, is it possible?

Other question is how to make a bios dump backup ( or does the backup that E3 flashers makes is enough?)? Just in case i brick this.

What ps3 model do you have? The E3 Flasher only works for NOR consoles not NAND consoles.

Is it is a NOR console (CECHH04).
My questions is not if i can downgrade it but if i can use the ps3jig to enter the factory mode (when needed) and what are the steps to do next after using the ps3jig.
And how to do dump bios backup (if the backup the E3 flasher does is not the one\best).

Nor indeed.

Using ps3jig to enter fsm is extremely buggy and hasn't gotten out of the testing phase yet. The files are available for use, but don't expect much on the first try, unless you're lucky.
