Downgrade my PS3SLIM to 3.15

If i downgrade my PS3SLIM to 3.15 .... i will be able to boot from otherOS and launch linux???.....
Remember that the slim comes without the otherOS function.
Maybe i will screw up my ps3 ... ??

as far as i'm to understand sony the slim never had the other os function.
a better bet would be to go the asbestos route if you want to run linux.

I highly doubt the otherOS feature will reappear in a slim considering it never had it on lower firmwares. otherOS is for fats only I'm pretty sure.

My PS3 when I bought it new had lower than FW3.15 when I purchased it so they can (at least earlier models) run the 3.15fw but wont enable OtherOS even if you do.
