Downgrade from 3.55 to 3.15 possible with a fat ps3?

So I currently have a fat ps3 (80GB) running 3.15 with the OtherOS feature still enabled.

My question:
Would it be possible to play around with the 3.55 firmware, and later downgrade/restore back to 3.15 to re-enable the OtherOS feature?

I've come across some mixed info on this, so i'd really appreciate it if i could get some expert opinions on this. Thanks!

Yes. You can upgrade to OFW 3.55, then try out any CFW's of MFW's. Then, you can go back to 3.15, if you have a downgrade device. I have heard you can also install linux in 3.55, and use that to downgrade (I do not know for sure).

Downgrading by linux is entirely experimental and I honestly wouldn't advise it. Your best bet is to go through the traditional method. Just use a teensy or other type of Jailbreak dongle to accomplish it.

You can try the 3.55 OtherOS++ CFW. CFW but with OtherOS support.

Isn't that only for slims?

Or did I read the readme wrong?
