Recently I copied black ops 2 to the internal HD of my PS3 slim. It had true blue CFW 3.55 v2.7 on it. when I went to run the game it said there was a game update (1.02) so I installed it. After the update my firmware was moved up to 4.11 but it also says True Blue V 2.7 next to the FW version. I thought I had screwed up all my back ups but somehow all my back ups still work and I am able to put the PS3 back to OFW 3.55 then into True blue 3.55 FW then the firmware info changes itself back to 4.11 True Blue 2.7. I had the TB dongle in the console when it updated. My question is why did the game update not block all homebrew applications and how come I am still able to downgrade the console without hardware extras? This just doesn't make sense to me..
