    Hey guys,

Im thinking about buying a p3go or some other device for my ps3.
I have a PS3 with 40gb internal HD though, so if im going to do this ill have to upgrade my hd too.
My ps3 has 3.41 firmware, when i heard about the jailbreak thing i updated it and then have not touched it since. So if i were to get a new HD will it reset my firmware or do i get to keep my 3.41?

    Thanks in advance!

When you install a new HDD, you'll need the 3.41 firmware on a thumbdrive so that it can flash it to the new HDD as part of the upgrade process. If you decide not to use a thumbdrive, then the PS3 will attempt to connect to online and download the latest firmware available.
