Does jailbreak team break PS3 V3.42 ?

First,please take a look at this news from jailbreak official site.

this is the quote from jailbreak site :" We will officially be releasing our support for new firmwares by October 20th, and Backup Manager v1.1 a few days after."

Yesterday my friend told me that the jailbreak team may release the update news for PS3 V3.42 on October 20th . Wow,is it true,or just a rumor? Even If they solve the way to break V3.42 , do they use another new jailbreak item or customers can use the previous jailbreak to update and break it. this is the first question!

Another,i can make sure that if it is true, after the jailbreak release the new item,the other clones will come out in a few days! at that time, another fight will begin....

Another fight is war between Sony and break companies , this fight will last alll the time. Just few days ago, sony won another litigation in euro , banned the euro break market ,but reality is even they win the law, it is so hard to carry out it...still there are more and more online shops come out everyday!

Anyway, let us just wait for the update news, people won't stop buying break items just because an uncertain news during this time. if V3.42 is really broken by jailbream,Wow, i admire them!

They never said they had a jailbreak for 3.42 or above. Just new firmwares. As their product only works on 3.41, all that statement means is that they will start supporting firmwares other then it. Ex: 3.01/3.10/3.15. Which is something all the clones can do. Just a speculation, but I'm guessing it's right.

yeah thats the big guess at the moment. See i agree but i still think ps3s can be hacked sony are stupid yes to put this into the PS3 in the 1st place but you can bet they have kept it just moved it around a bit.
