    ok i jailbroke the ps3 of mine with a iphone 2g and the psfreedom hack. i have apps folder and install package folder on my ps3 screen. i then put backup manager and ftp server files on usb and installed them . when i open them i get an error occured during startup operation 80029519. can someone steer me in the right direction please

    what do you mean restart,,if i do that want i have to run the jailbreak again

    So you installed ftp and BM successfully, and then when you go to launch them from the game menu, you get that error?

    He means DID you restart the PS3 after installing backup manager, not YOU SHOULD. As this error is generally related to the PS3 not being in dev mode (ie. the jailbreak isn't active)

    no i didnt restart it, after i did the install i and put the bm and ftp package from usb drive i clicked on them and thats when i got the error
