BTW. Just like the PSP. So far I haven't heard any news that a PSP got banned for having a CFW.

I don't want to sound overly optimistic but this is a full system hack. This isn't the xbox with it's dvd firmware hack or anything limited.
If Sony does ban what's to say it can't be undone? We'll need to know how they ban, what they look for and how to counter it. Then once the hackers find out what they've used to ban you and try to create stealth cfw, for the unbanning it may be a process with dealing with the nand itself, but considering it's been fully hacked? Who knows it may be alot simpler or more complicated.
here's a little bit of knowledge for you.
1) the PSP doesn't give an auto update to PSN stating what you're playing.
2) Sony would be absolute idiots to ban anyone as stated above.
3) I'm investing in another ps3 just in case lolol:):D
Personally I hope they will ban (at least) all cheaters.
I wouldn't mind if they banned all users on a CFW as well tbh.
However, with all the keys laying around and the ability of makeing homebrew wouldn't it be fun if someone made a hamachi clone like app for the PS3 so that everybofy could play online, even if they were banned from PSN :)
