do usb 'Jailbreak' devices work with the new PS3 released today ?
i want to buy a ps3 and play backup games but i don't know if the Jailbreak devices will work with a new slim ps3

No, they do not.

USB Jailbreak devices can only be used on PS3's that have System Software 3.41 or lower.
