I want to downgrade a slim ps3

I have read the warnings about never use service mode on firmware 3.56 to 3.60 or you will get stuck on service mode

I bought a ps3 off ebay and a e3 flasher from a place called eachgame, the e3 flasher was the eu version eachgame . me/goods-6922. html
I guess its almost the same as the limited edition but doesnt have a tiny screwdriver, or I could be wrong.

The ps3 is a slim 120gb, not the super slim ps3

The ebay ad listed it as a 2001 model currently in demo mode, I have already looked up how to get it out of demo mode when it arives

I have spent a little time reading the guides on this site just trying to get a little information about what to buy to downgrade

I have got a bunch of micro sd card usb adapters so I dont need to buy one of those

I wanted to ask if I will need anything like a jailbreak device , e3 card reader, or teensy to complete the downgrade
I think I read somewhere I will need to use this with the e3 flaher

And the video i watched they had some kind of jailbreak device

I bought a teensy or i think it was just a dongle that had the same specks as a teensy years ago but now i lost it and cant find it, im tired of looking around the house for it

I can't tell you definitely how you will go downgrading a demo unit but yes you will need a dongle that can put your ps3 in service mode when using the e3 flasher for downgrading

I thought after I put in a certain code I can take the ps3 out of demo mode

I read a thread on here , a guy was worried that the ps3 demo had different hardware than normal ps3 but everyone told him that is not the problem

I programed my last ps3 dongle im probably just gonna get a cheap one i probaly cant update incase i ever needed to

Last time i bought a dongle it was just a few days before geohot release 3.55cfw and i kinda bought it programmed it and used it when i really didnt need to do all that work because the cfw was much much easier

things change and i know there are guides that night not get updated

at 7 seconds it shows what is needed to perform downgrade and a dongle is not there , and i watch the whole 23 minute video and no dongle

what is information about this ?

Yeah that's the same video I used a while back, skip to 16:15 and it shows using the dongle. If you can find the Teensy that will be ok but if you need to buy a dongle do a google on it before buying it to make sure it supports PSGrade(that's the main term), just google the name of the one you're thinking of buying and add downgrade to the search.
I really can't be sure about the Demo mode unless I do more research but back when it was news I think you had to enter the code every time you started the console. I could be wrong because it's been a while and I just didn't want to give you any misinformation.

if i have to put code in everytime then i will be putting that ps3 back in the shipping box it came in and closing it like i never opened sending it back as refused so i dont have to pay return shipping and sending it back, i will tell the seller the truth about having to put code in everytime, most likeley they will understand and refund without a hassle

Cool, like I said I'm not 100% sure but let's hope I'm wrong. Also Modchipcentral is pretty well known so I'd go with them.

modchipcentral is saying they are having issue with online payments right now, only taking wire transfers, money order, email transfer or something
