I'd like to know the same, i've been out the game since 3.60+ games wouldn't work. Now I have all my games working on 3.55 but as soon as you apply the update it stops working. Do we overwrite the new eboot with the patched one ?
I think it's the same eboot.bin after the update is applied, can someone briefly explain how to get updates to work after patching the eboot.bin for 3.55 cfw?
It seems to me that we need to take this step only if we want to update the game. I'm i wrong guys? Otherwise its just the standard way.? I really dont give a **** about updating my games but it seems that some games, in order for them to work, needs to be updated and then have that eboot from the updated folder encrypted. Shit is confusing to me hahahaha. I was used to just replace eboot and play but im liking this method cuz we can just do it ourselves instead of waiting to be spoonfed. :/
For the update you need to grab the eboot from the update folder and encrypt it and then replace back to where it was and leave the original eboot from backup alone. This is how i did it with help from bahamut on my fallout new vegas ultimate edition.
I wonder if that Fallout game i tested wouldve worked without doing the whole updating process and grabbing eboot from update folder? Or was it necessary to update this game and why?
ANy help is appreciated guys. Thanks!
