Just got myself an Old fat ps3 running 3.55 ofw do i jail break it or or put kmeaw on it? I have a few originals that wont play due to it running 3.55 and they need 3.60+ ans as you cannot run 3.60+ games on 3.55ofw what do i do?

It just seems that there isn't much point in putting custom firmware on the ps3 if you cannot run newer games unless there is a way to mod the game?

either dont, and update to ofw or get a trueblue dongle which still has limited functionality

if you're only relying on playing the newer games then it seems you dont need anybody to answer this question for you

I'm going to be very blunt with you. If you don't care about pirating games and such just update your ps3 to play your store bought games the scene isn't looking too good right now anyway

Does Trueblue or Cobra work? what can they do?

True Blue offers 3.60+ game support, although currently limited as mentioned.

Cobra offers various support upgrades: enhanced backup support (basically, ANYTHING 3.56- will be playable), ps1 support, ps2 surrort, blu-ray/dvd rip support, and psp support. Not sure this last one counts, as I do not know if they have anything special that CFW cannot do.
