So, I tried everything to get my PS3 NAT type to 2 instead of 3. And then went on to try giving the console a static ip and adding that ip to the dmz list. When I do that oddly enough I can't even get a connection in the ps3 lol
    Any solution guys?

I had the same problem as you, and I solved it by port forwarding some specific ports in my router:

    TCP 5223 - 5223 5223 - 5223 - -

    UDP 3478 - 3478 3478 - 3478 - -

    UDP 3479 - 3479 3479 - 3479 - -

    UDP 3658 - 3658 3658 - 3658 - -

    TCP 443 - 443 443 - 443 - -

    TCP 80 - 80 80 - 80 - -

    TCP 9293 - 9293 9293 - 9293 - -

    TCP 10070 - 10080 10070 - 10080 - -

    UDP 10070 - 10080 10070 - 10080 - -

I don't remember where I got this info but it solved my problem, give it a try as a last resort.

Im not sure where you are headed with this post. It sounds like your asking why you cant access your PS3 which you put in the DMZ. If that is the case I think maybe you should read a bit about DMZ's then if your question hasn't been answered try rewording it.

Not really, I want to get NAT type 2 on my ps3 because I can't play certain modes of online with NAT 3. I tried forwarding those ports but still nothing.
I then tried putting the PS3 in the DMZ but still nothing. I have a Huawei modem and a SMC router, I don't know what else to do.
