Disable updates?

I jailbroke my PS3 using the TI-84 calculator method and everything works perfectly.... except I can't connect to PSN or anything like that because it says I have to update to 3.42. I don't care about getting banned or anything like that because I never play online anyway. My question, is there a way to get around this? I want to connect to PSN and download a couple things, and also download some updates Madden Rosters (Pal Version).

Your best not to access the PSN, we don't know how Sony will Ban us yet.. They may simply Ban our PSN account access.. Or they may ban the console making it useless.

There is currently no work around to get PSN access on the PS3, I believe. Maybe the PSN Demo Loader will let you download off PSN on the PC and then transfer to PS3?

My 360 is banned but far from useless.
