Hi,
I am curious, how many of you actually jailbreaked your PS3 and then decided to live legally again, stop jailbreaking and updated to 3.50 in order to play most recent games ?
I did. I just figured out that if one day 3.50 gets jailbreaked, then I can still do it later on, while I can enjoy the recent games now.
I kinda got frustrated to not get online, getting my games updates, having games not working, etc... and I am not patient.
I do have a PS3key (genuine with serial) for sale and a PS3break 1.0 (long version that cannot be updated).
Interested ? I am in UK.

Game updates work fine now. As for online play I do that with the pc
At the end of the day if you cannot live without the online play of the ps3 then JB is not for you because even when/if they figure out a way to do it, Sony will then patch it out with an update if possible.
And then the cat and mouse games begin

I was thinking of updating when GT5 came out but Sony decided to give me more time to think about it.... :S

Not only MOH but as well GT5 (sadly it is delayed). IGN are crap for reviews, I tend to trust GameSpot (7.5).

A 2nd hand ps3 cost 100 odd quid on ebay. If i was you guys, i would have two ps3's, one for offline and 1 for online.
Saves all the fuss.
Just buy a broken ps3, and replace the laser or something, cost you 100 quid or so.

I don't care about online, so no. I'll stay on 3.41. At least until a good number of interesting to me games requiring post-3.41 accumulates and if there still won't be solution for running them on 3.41. I'm not that eager to lose 3.41 because of less than 3-5 games that I'm really interested in. And for now, I only foresee one such game - The Last Guardian, and no, I don't care about GT5 at all

I was thinking about that but I am against eBay, so I will not purchase there. And my other options are not great deals for cheap PS3. As well, I don't really have the space and cables for having a second PS3 at home.
I will follow the Jailbreak scene very closely and see where it goes. In the long term, firmwares 3.42 and above will need to be jailbroken.
