After sometime using FTP noticed this folder

But I only have 1 HDD installed?!

Could this be the reason some of the games not working?

(Atelier Rorona for example - it couldn't install gamedata properly)

Should I format my hdd?

Have you ever plugged an external USB drive in?

It's probably just a pointer to when it mounted that volume

external usb drive is mount in the folder /usb0 or something like that.
I am not near my PS3 to check it now.

USB drives mounts to dev_usb

so my games problems coul be from it?

If I install a new hdd, try problem games then install an old one - it *will* be formated or not?

and a little bit ago i saw dev_HDD1 and now it is gone

btw does anyone know where the games are stored wen i back them up using backup manager?

dev_hdd1 is a partition of the hard drive, stuff like when you download firmware etc your ps3 puts it in the dev_hdd1 partition.
