Deleted install package files
Deleted install package files –
I did some cleaning and deleted the ps3-package-manager-v0-9 for some unknown reason.
1: Download the 'Package Manager 0.9 – Installer 1.1′ package and install it on your PS3.
2: Run 'Package Manager 0.9 – Installer 1.1′ and choose your option.
Step 1 would require me to have a package manager installed right?, how would I solve this
Though I still seem to have the option to press triangle and *install all package files* but it doesn't work.. Perhaps I would need to place the file somewhere?
Easiest thing is just to reinstall your custom firmware. There's a key combo that's supposed to restore it but I'm not sure exactly what it is and have never used it. I think it's L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + L3 + R3 or something like that. If that's not it, just reflash your firmware
It was happened to me on Rebug.
When I installed the XMBM+ it was not showed & XMBM+ not installed.
Then I enter the XMBM+ installer and uninstall it.
It not showed again till I change the Cex/Dex options.
Then I Installed XMBM+ again...
Now works perfectly.
But you are using Kmeaw like CFW, you can try to enter your usb media via Multiman.
After you hit the pkg file, it must kick you back to XMB's pkg files option.
You did this in wrong order. You must first install pkg for "dev_hdd0/game/" and as second for dev_flash. If You install flash first, You have no XMLs (there was "splitted" to seeking an external XML for these function in "game data").
This is what happend when someone don't read a readme file.
There are two solutions: reinstall fw or (if PS3 is qa flagged) install it once again from install package option in addition qa settings.
