Dead island help.. cant get it to load
Dead island help.. cant get it to load –
hey all ive tried a few differnt ways to get my copy of dead island to load off my ps3 and keep getting a error code.
So what i have tried is...
Copied game over to hard external hard drive... Downloaded the 1.04 eboot fix.. and updated game to 1.04.. Put eboot fix in game folder.. then i get a error code when trying to load the game, then i tried putting the eboot fix in both the game folder and the update folder .. same thing error code when loading... then i tried wiht putting the eboot fix in just the update folder and leaving the orig eboot file in the game folder and still got a error code
Then i deleted everything recoppied the game to my external hard drive.. deleted the update pacth on my ps3 then reinstealled.. took the eboot file from the patch file on my ps3 and used bruteforce's eboot fix program on the eboot to to make a new eboot .. took the eboot put it in my ps3 patch folder and then also in the game folder on the external hard drive.... Got the game to load but only got a black screen with sound ...
So would anybody know what i can do to get my copy of dead island to work???
Are you trying to use a BLES fix for a BLUS game? if so are you changing your PARAM.SFO and changing the name of the main folder to match? have you tried it on internal? the fix i have was a .pkg for the BLES and its internal and I didnt have a problem but it seems like you got your fix somewhere different. It could be a bad fix, it could be that you need to swap your PARAM to match your eboot it could just be your external acting goofy. i know sometimes all i need to do is reboot when im running from an external and im getting the 80010017 error code. there is really a ton of possible reasons you are getting an error hopefully one of these can help.
you dont need to worry about the update folder you can delete that and save a little space try with select + x in mm
the eboot fix i found was a blus30790..so that was not the prob.. um going to try to see if the game will work for me in a internal copy
well i got the game to work by installing the game on my internal hard drive and by making my own eboot fix
