Data Transfer Bypass Possible?
Data Transfer Bypass Possible? –

Well, I was thinking about this:
You need 2 ps3's:
One PS3 with 3.41 + a JBdongle (OFW)
One PS3 with 3.56
Well, this thing i'm unsure about if it is possible or not:
You need to sign a pkg file with 3.56 keys.
I know Sony changed a few things, but is it still possible to sign pkg files or not?
If it is possible then sign a 3.56 pkg file, and install it on your 3.41 PS3.
Then do a Data transfer between the systems. If it is done you will see your installed PKG file on your 3.56 system.
(I also think that Sony can't trace you with the rootkit with this? Cause you are staying on a OFW)
(I've tested it from 3.41 to 3.55 OFW and that worked!)

Wish I knew how to sign pkgs
so I could give this a try on my neighbours setup.

Keys changed for 3.56 and are using a proper random number to figure said keys. It's been discussed many times on these forums. Hence why we don't have 3.56 CFW, can't downgrade from 3.56, and why you'll be stuck in service mode if you try to get in it in 3.56.
