About LinkBacksMy question is the title. I searched on the forum and I found 1 guy who had bricked his ps3 by replacing those custom boots.
So If I screw up, will you still be able to recover it?
I think it is a pretty high risk for 3 sec custom boot and the life of your ps3
What do you guys think?

Such a waste of good space....how about you actually READ the whole coldboot thread?
its 1 of like 50 and he messed it up...nab etc.

03-01-2011,12:59 PMAny editing of the flash you can screw up your console, however if you would have to delete the wrong file (or do something else retarded).
Your console will work with no coldboot.raf file as well as a messed up one, it just won't show a logo.
If you do do something wrong you can go to recovery mode to re install your FW.
