Custom Font Help

Hey I was wondering if anybody had tried this yet

The problem I'm having is that when I try to upload them via FTP I get this message:

Command: STOR SCE-PS3-SR-R-LATIN.TTF
Response: 550 File system error (open EROFS)
Error: Critical file transfer error

what am i doing wrong

Use Jaicrab usb firmware loader.

when i ftp'd the dev_flash to my usb some of the files don't show up

you cannot ftp to the dev_flash.
You could use comgenies filemanager, but make sure with the firmware loader before you make any permanent changes (and brick your ps3)

Don't ftp to the usb.
ftp dev_flash to your computer
then copy the contents of that folder to the root of a usb stick.
replace the 2 .ttf files with the ones you wanna try out.
then load the usb firmware pkg, and then run it.

I did this one (distant galaxy italic.ttf)

when i ftp'd the dev_flash to my computer it gets hung up on something and makes filezilla not responding.

are you using the 1.1 ftp by blackbox?

no it doesn't work when using Filezilla, I'm getting the no connection error. I'm using the original PS3 FTP program.

It works for me.
You may need to update your jailbreak method with the peek/poke attributes if you haven't yet.
and dont use a name or password.
Then try blackbox 1.1 again.
I don't think you can copy that folder with the old ftp program
