Couple of questions related to PS jailbreak (havnt found and answer yet)

Im not the kinda of guy who plays a game often, maybe 2-3 games a year. And after im done playing the game i sell it.

I have one game atm and its god of war 3, however, its broken, its got a big scratch in it. And it allways freezes midway into the game.

Im a student so money isnt that high, but im wondering about some things.

Is the only way to play backups on the ps3, to actually have the original game, and copying it to the HD? Cause my god of war will surely fault midway i think.

I read about playing games from a usb harddrive, however, is it true that the only way to play from a usb hdd, is to use backup manager on the ps3 (and backup the game in the drive).

Im asking, cause i want to redownload my god of war game, i guess thats legal, since i own it? But if i understand correctly, if i download it, i can just put the file on a usb drive, and play it from the usb drive?

Lastly, i kinda dont wanna ask, but where can i find god of war 3? im not that good at finding stuff, and usually dont download stuff, i just want my game, cause the game cost freaking 100 dollars over here.

no idea, as i said, im not that savy when it comes to downloads, but i remember some years ago, that people where dumping ps3 games.

Just waiting for a confirmation, that i actually need the working game for it to play backups.

I guess in USA thats awesome ,cause you can rent games, but i dont understand the point since here i have to buy the games.

Getting a copy of copyrighted work is illegal, under all circumentences, if you do not read it out on your own from an original.
In any case, the only exception I could guess, is making a copy of an original disc pressed by the same master, after your original is broken (but you still must own it!).

how are you gunna download your own game? from where ?

My god why would you do you know how big a ps3 game is , I read noobs saying i will download a ps3 game (year right 5gb to 40gb for a game like gow3) i dont thinks , if it you game and you disc cool just back it up if, but downloading how long will it take you ??? , not for me

If you don't tell anyone that you downloaded game, no one can prove it.

Well... for now you can't because God of War 3 contains file(s) over 4gb.

When PSJB will be more available for end users a tons of PS3 games will be "released" at well known torrent sites

Umm.. Wouldnt it be easier to just rent the game and rip it.
Just a thought.

If you own the game already its not illegal. You just have to keep the actual disc tho.
Really tho, who cares. No one will find out.
