im testing some games in direct boot mode, but some games are not supported and it creates a "currupted data" icon in the xmb of the ps3.
is this safe to delete?
ive read some people wiping out all their games after deleting the gaia manager or certain apps.
also..
i get "FWRITE FAILED" in backing up guitar hero5 in external. and i think that game dont have 4gb+ file.

You're right, GH5 doesn't have files over 4GB therefore should backup fine.
The FWRITE Error can be cause by insufficient space or a dirty disc.

i tried deleting the corrupted data and the game is still there. case solved.
re: guitar hero 5 fwrite failed
i tried cleaning the disc and plug the ps3 to an AVR. now it backups fine. case solved.
mods can close the thread now.
