I had the original backup manager on my PS3 not sure what it was actually called but it was the very first one out. I installed Flex Manager and it installed over that original manager. No big deal cuz it was pretty basic and I didnt use it anymore. I didnt like flex manager so I pressed [triangle] then Delete.
I dont know what happened but now I have a corrupted Data icon on my PS3 now.

I tried installing the original manager again hoping it would just install right in the spot that said corrupted data. Nope. I tried installing flex manager again. Nope didnt help.
How do I get rid of this? I tried deleting and it gave me this error code (80010036)

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Should I be concerned about this.. or just let it be?
Do I need to format my ps3? ..If I format will it automatically update?

Anyone have any input on this?

For BM 1.0 (Original) it is

    Code:
    /dev_hdd0/game/LAUN12345
Or you could use Comgenie file manager

your gamez MAY be in the GAMEZ folder if you have them backed up there if so read this : http://psx-scene.com/forums/565024-post3.html (Deinstall Backup Manager.)

If you format you will need 3.41 fw on a USB stick and if you have DLC you will need to backup your key file : http://psx-scene.com/forums/f118/psn...ivation-69729/

Still cant figure out what is the corrupted data folder.

I went to /dev_hdd0/game/ and went through all the folders. I used filezilla to try to view each .png to figure out what game it was. I found a folder with the .png didnt show any picture.. just a blank white image. I figured that was it but it wasnt. I ended up deleting a different game by mistake. I guess if I googled the folder name I would have known it was flOw. But just realized now that could be done.

The only other folder in there that looks out of place is called:
    _DEL_2010111100023100294091

There are no files in it. Could that be it?

What you need to do is delete the whole folder (backup your games etc. first) un install any backup mgr that uses that location, its all detailed above
