Is there going to be any CFW 3.56 coming out anytime soon or at all?

probably not for some time. for people how updated to 3.56 official, pretty much all hope is lost.

but a 3.56 custom firmware is possible but very tricky to implement.

well my console was faulty so i sent it off to sony as it was under warranty and today i got it back with 3.56. now im fuming!

as the dev says.. theres no need to hack 3.56 yet, since there's no reason to do so. It's just a security patch and it doesnt add any capabilities on the console.

but maybe... expect some kind of downgrader.

don't expect ANYTHING for consoles that area already at 3.56 and above, really

never say never.... anyway im going to call sony and tell them on why they updated my console as i was on 3.15 without my consent. i didnt agree terms to update and loose my other os

The only reason anyone would need CFW 3.56 is because of PSN.

Seeing as Sony can read our Hard Drives and see whats on them there is no reason to have 3.56.
