Okay, I have seen at LEAST 4 posts today regarding folks on 3.56 wanting to downgrade or jailbreak or install CFW…as of right now (2/6/2011) it is NOT possible….these threads are usually started by n00bs that have JUST signed up and usually on their first/second post….

Now its 5. Do you really think anyone who is making a post about 3.56 actually looks at recent posts?

If you answered yes - why are they making yet another thread when there's already a bunch of threads about it.

I've read that as of now ofw 3.56 is out and unfortunately also on my PS3
So I want to downgrade it to 3.55 and install Kmeaw cfw 3.55.
I already learned that for now it's not possible to downgrade from 3.56 but, I found a method on net4geeks.com, and all I would like to know is of it reliable if it makes any sense and worth to try?

If the method is not on our website, then it is a scam/bullshit and could potentially leave you locked in service mode, or brick your console. So far, not a single one of these 3.56 downgrades/CFW's are real and were only put out there by prepubescent kids that have nothing better to do then screw with other people.

why would anyone want to follow a tutorial that tells you to brick your system?

I wouldnt trust anything if is not posted here, and that site is not ps3 specific like psx-scene is, well i know ps2 and ps1 but i am just saying, they are not experts like many people here
