Long story ( not so ) short, came home deleted useless data, kept important and heavy ones ( GT5 updates as example, big PSN games like Sonic Adventure, here and there other ones, ) bye bye emulators, managers, etc... I used the backup utility and took like 45 min.
Removed disk, I TRIED to insert the 1 TB ...Big NOOOOOOO...I knew it!,
Tried to open my PS3 to remove the intrenal HDDBay, I realized I didn't have my hex screw at hand, oh , crap..
So I removed the ext protection bay, I bended crashed, smashed the screw holes still didn't go to the end... softly bended the internal HDD bay's base down a little bit, I inserted pressed the 1TB with with pain on my heart , thinking PS3 + new 2.5" 1 TB + anything goes wrong = $$$$ Loss..
Cling! Attached..! Orgasmic sensation... I felt like a 15yrs old again,...
Ps3 turned on, Asked me to format the HDD , and reinstall OFW 3.55 ( some people seems to pass without this...why???) , all configs again, blablabla...but worked.. I sweat the cold sweat a bit again installing waninkoko ( THE brick risk... I went clear once, but you never know..)
Ps3 Slim 1 TB... with battle scars, but going through..
but why the hell did you risk bricking your ps3 again? after all those bricks.
i would really want to understand the logic behind choosing waninkoko's cfw over kmeaw's cfw.
i would understand if waninkoko's cfw had just appeared and the tentation would be too big...but now?
or did i miss a really big advantage when it comes to waninkoko's cfw? cuz i don't think so.
My NAND is 16 mb so I am probably on the safest side *crossing fingers * , you never know, but I got used to waninkoko, ( Also a Wii user here ) ...and I am not familiar with Kmeaw's CFW, and its Lv2 patch at start do this and that ( confusing ) .. is just pick and play, and works for me... except ofr Il-2 Sturmovik and Eyepet Move edition.. :-(

nothing confusing about kmeaw's cfw, pretty much works the same as waninkoko's now, just turn it on and do what you want (originally you did have to start a lv2 patch program before using backup managers, BUT that is not needed now that the newer versions of the backup managers include it in their source code)
