to have comgenies awesome file manager on a jailbroken ps3 do you have to have geohots jailbrake or can it just be any jailbrake for 3.55.

wow someone still uses Comgenie's Awesome Filemanager, or better yet geohot CFW. No it don't matter what jailbreak or CFW/MFW you use

yes and no. there was 2 versions of it. One for Geohot and one for the modern world. The old one should have been taken down by now on most sites but it's still floating around. actually KMEAW and most if not all current CFW/MFW have been patched to install either or pkg so all geohot pkg's should work

Yes, you can use comgenie's file manager on KMEAW. I've used it from time to time on KMEAW, Rebug, and TB firmwares. Geohot's CFW is extremely dated. You should use KMEAW, bitsbubba's NFW, or Rebug 3.55.2 with the .6 update. Personally I'd go with Rebug but it's a matter of preference
