I'm trying to copy a file that I split in two using awesome file manager but when I navigate to the files I want to copy and push circle to copy, start to confirm nothing happens. I've tried this but in normal and advance mode and nothing works.

When I try to Move the files using R2, I push start to confirm but it deletes the file completely. It's not longer on my USB stick and not in the PS3 folder I'm trying to move it to.

Anyone know what's going on? Or at least of another file manager that will allow me to split/move/merge files larger than 4gb from USB to PS3 HDD. I'm trying to find an alternative to FTP as I often time out and have very slow speed when transferring.

I use gaia manager 1.4.1 or open manager latest version.Just insert your USB stick with the file on it go to your back up manager(gaia or OPEN MANAGER) select the game that you want to copy from your usb stick then press O and ohh did i forget to tell you, expect lawsuits ^^.

I figured out the problem. Awesome manager splits the file into three parts one with the original file name the other two have Part 1 and Part 2 additions. I thought that Part 1 and Part 2 were the only files that it split into so I was trying copy those.

When I copied the split file with the original name it transferred and merged all three files to my HDD.
