cod: black ops zombie mode

if someone here has cod: black ops working could you let me know if the zombie modes lets u do 2 player offline co-op and how many maps there are. thank you or if anyone knows for sure let me know.

Also does LAN work? The report from TehReaper was that "multiplayer doesn't work". Pretty vague as he could be referring to online multiplayer only (which obviously wouldn't work anyway).

I was able to play 2 player co-op Zombies.
As for maps, if you just start the game, there is only one Zombie map open (out of three)

If you beat the game, it unlocks another Zombie map. When I beat the game, I let it play through the credits (because sometimes there is bonus content after credits)
Lo an behold, there was. It was about a two minute video, then you enter into a zombie mode on the new map. After turning off the system, it is unlocked from the Zombie mode menu. I am not sure if you have to sit through the credits in order to enable it or not, but I can confirm that, if you do, it will be unlocked.

Not sure about LAN mode though.

Well...I know they are two different systems, but the 360 version only has 1 darn map without going online to download more

. Maybe the PS3 version will ship with more...but I'm doubtful. I don't have my 360's linked, but the 360 version will work via System Link mode...so once again, hopefully in a couple hours we will be pleasantly suprised. I'm definitely heading out at midnight to buy a copy...I have to have online play! 7 hours and counting down..... Zombie mode is definitely different...and hard, its a survival game...you can buy health but once you die...its all over.

Have you actually tried this or is that just a guess? The multiplayer mode is inaccessable, leading only to a black screen, unless i've missed a fix (spent the last 8 hours at work)

Once you beat the game, you unlock a map called "Five" which is based out of the Pentagon.

Thanks to you I just saw it too. I think a new thread should be made for it. Nice find netkas, hopefully this will be the game to finally kick off the X-Link Kai scene for the PS3.

I can't get two consoles joining each other in zombies mode lan or psn play. It otherwise works and so does the other multiplayer mode. Can someone perhaps investigate why this is. If it works through Kai then so be it but I can't see why it won't work via PSN at the very least.. even invites fail to join.
