I'm on 3.41 (Downgrade with QA FLAG - System Update Rebug) on a CECHE model (backward compatibility).
So, I bought the Cobra USB few weeks ago and now I want to use it on my ps3, but when I tried to use it with the jailbreak method, the final led was the green one, but I can't see any "Install Package" in Game menu and I can't run "Cobra USB Manager" application (which I had installed when I was in 3.55) after that.

What I did wrong? Can I be QA flagged? Can I use another firmware like 3.41 rebug?

    Thanks.

No, you didn't understand. I want to use Cobra USB, but I'm asking if I could use it with 3.41 rebug and what I did wrong because the cobra usb didn't work.

    Thanks.

Oh, my bad. Don't use the cobra with a cfw. Someone will correct me, but you're not supposed to use a dongle with a cfw. Just use cobra + 3.41 OFW or 3.41 Rebug.

Did you start the PS3 correctly?

    1. You must be on firmware version 3.41. If you are on 3.50, you must downgrade first. If your
version is below 3.41, please update to firmware 3.41.
    2. Cut off the power of your PS3. If you are on a fat console, press the button on the back to do so.
If you are on a slim, you must pull up the power line.
    3. Insert Cobra USB in the PS3. Make sure that it is in jailbreak mode (switch in middle position).
Also, make sure you don’t have any other usb device connected to the PS3 and that there is no
    disc inserted.
    4. Turn on the PS3 and press eject quickly.
    5. Red and green led’s of Cobra will flash while booting. If the jailbreak succeeds, the final led will
be the green one, otherwise, the final led will be the red one.

I did what is mention above, but the "Install Packages" didn't appear. I think is because I'm QA flagged, but I can't be sure.

I believe you can only use dongles on 3.41 ofw. Make sure you power cycle then plug into right most usb slot and power then eject rapidly

Question: Why are you QA flagged?

And make sure the cobra is in the USB port closes to the eject button (he farthest right port). After the power cycle, do the usual power and eject, but try not being to fast with it. Press power then a half second later, press eject.

I think he's QA flagged because he used it to downgrade

Yes, because I had to downgrade to 3.41, but can't be QA flagged?
I putted in the most left usb port, is that the problem?

Ohh, don't know if it'll work. Try the right most port. Reinstall 3.41 from the recovery menu, restore defaults, even though it shouldn't get you outta QA flagged, but it's worth a shot.
