Hello,
I need help changing from 4.30 Rogero CFW to Cobra 4.30 + CFW which just got released. Never touched a ps console for more than 10 years, I need full intruction on how to switch CFW.
This ps3 is second hand and already came with CFW and multiman, so will I also retain my saves?

Goes like this PS3 > UPDATE > PS3UPDAT. Make a folder on your usb named PS3 inside that make another folder named UPDATE inside that one put the cfw file, rename it to PS3UPDAT plug the usb into the 2nd usb port on your ps3, then go to system update under the settings column and click update via storage media...MAKE SURE YOU DONT HAVE A DISC IN WHILE UPDATING. There ya go now you'll be where ya wanna be.

Hi dude,
Thanks anyway, Managed to update it to cobra. There was a disk inside there and I took that out too before updating, what about the multiman, do I have to get one from Cobra?
Anyone who wants to update, update using restore menu using the button combo just to be safe.
