I don't have any device to jb my ps3, and I'm not gonna buy a htc phone or ti-84 just to jb the ps3, although I have a psp, I heard someone is porting jb clone to psp, so should I wait for the psp port?
Or is there any cheap ways to jb the ps3? I heard of teensy, it's supposedly around $20-30, is there anything cheaper? Like less than $20?

if you buy all the parts and solder it yourself you can get a stick below the price of the Teensy. Literally the Teens 1.0 is only $18.

You could probably get all the parts for $7-$8. So for about an extra $10 bucks you don't have to assemble anything...

The PSP port was deemed impossible. You need to check the news.

Cheaper? check the latest news forums. ps2chipper is selling it pretty cheap.

Soldering a 48 pin SMD chip that size is really no simple task and best left to experienced people.

excuse me for being noobish but, all the device that is used to JB a PS3 are the same right?
That means it only has one goal and not that the more expensive the device, the better it is at JB a PS3? Meaning the speed and performance at JB the PS3.

And you need to have the JB device plug in every time you use the PS3?

i agree, i have no idea if this guy knows how to solder though. i would assume that if he wants a cheaper stick than $18 (not sure about the ps2chiper price), he's pretty much going to need to make it himself, so i would assume he might be more technically inclined than others.
