Cheapest jailbreak and will it work
Cheapest jailbreak and will it work –
I was looking for a cheap solution to jailbreak my PS3, but couldn't find anything that would be in reasonable prices and could be shipped to all Europe's countries. Thought about those USB devboards, but they seem also overpriced.
Maybe there is a cheap device (used or something) that can also jailbreak? Like an iPod, except it isn't cheap.
But there is a difference in my PS3 - it has no BD-ROM :P
It does still have the motherboard of the ROM attached (found that without the ROM games won't work), the blue-led keeps glowing because I removed the disc without ejecting it. Even after "eject" it keeps glowing, so I assume that the PS3 thinks I have a disc inside. Will jailbreak still work for me?
Look at my signature I have a PS Jailbreak 2 clone.
It was only 9 or 10 usd including shipping worldwide. I ordered it some time ago so maybe its even cheaper now.
I thought it was crap when I ordered it but the upgrading is VERY EASY! I could not believe how easy it was so I thought the upgrader was fake but it wasn't lol. As you can see I'm running the latest payload hermes4b + 3.50 spoof.
People will tell you to order a more expensive one with more memory so its future proof for larger payloads.
But I say buy this and wait because every month they release a new awesome jailbreak device with more features. As of now there are coming ALOT of jailbreaks with a downgrader implented in them. So my advice is wait and buy a cheap clone for now.
I bought it on volumerates but they dont have it anymore
I found a $ 15.99 E3 Jailbreak wich is good too
E3 Card Reader Micro SD/TF Card Reader PS3 Dongle with 128KB Flash
Its not the BEST but the best jailbreak does not exist yet.. Only 6usd more expensive
Beware of people here who are only promoting their own website.
They often claim other websites sell clones and not original but thats just a lame statement to justify their overpriced jailbreaks. I have nothing to do with volumerates Just helping someone here and hoping they dont buy overpriced jailbreaks.
Is this a 3in1 solution or something?
1) A jailbreak device
2) A dual-boot device (similar to downgrader)
3) A MicroSD reader
What I don't understand or don't know is if I need that 4MB drive to store homebrew, can't I store it in MicroSD or even HDD?
Otherwise this is kinda better then others
Nothing special IMO you probably aren't going to use it anyway
4MB is way to low anyhow
So if I wanted to install Backup manager, FTP Manager, File manager and maybe some emulator then I need to get it all in those 4MB and keep it always there? Or all installed PKG files goes to HDD and I can delete that .PKG from 4MB drive?
P.S. I voted for the forum ^^
Just use an USB stick or external hdd to store all your package files, warez, **** and whatnot
You can put the managers (I reccomend Gaia Manager 1.04) on a USB stick works fine.
As I said you're not going to use that 4MB space anyhow..
And yes you can install .pkg files from USB stick or External HDD no problems..
I'm not sure about cheaper clones they are not upgradable me thinks..
