I am about to upgrade from ym 120 gig internal to 500 gig internal and I backed up all the internal games. However, I am not sure how to back up my psn game from pre jailbreak days. I am on regero 4.31 btw.

I think you can just hit that backup utility in the settings menu and it will back up all of that on a hdd and then you can bring it back using the same option. Be wary, when you change the hdd you should have your cfw somewhere because you will have to reinstall it again.
